Sables de la Gagnerie is a single-plot cuvée from Domaine du Matin Calme, sourced from the "La Gagnerie" lieu-dit on sandy-loam and pebble soils — ancient Loire alluvial deposits. The Water trigram appears on the label as a nod to this terroir. Hand-harvested, gently pressed with selected juice, fermented with indigenous yeasts, this 100% Chenin is aged 12 months on fine lees.

   Bright pale yellow, crystal clear.

  Fruity: pear, apricot, a floral lime-blossom note and a fresh citrus touch

   Round, supple and velvety, well balanced, with a smooth, fresh finish typical of Chenin Blanc

   10-12°c

   3 - 5 years (Best enjoyed young, though it will evolve well over a few years)
