Description
From 2 hectares of sandy and gravelly soils in Anjou, 20-year-old Chenin vines yield an exceptional raw material. Harvest takes place in early October, entirely by hand, with meticulous sorting of golden berries lightly affected by botrytis — a demanding selection that defines the wine’s full complexity.
ts robe is a bright yellow, destined to evolve into deep gold with age. On the nose, complexity reveals itself immediately: ripe pear, vineyard peach, and quince create an alluring, generous bouquet. On the palate, the attack is soft, just off-dry, before layers of ripe fruit and mineral expression gradually unfold. The finish is powerful and remarkably persistent — the hallmark of great Chenins from Anjou.
