Schistes Gris du Pré Clos is a single-plot cuvée from Domaine du Matin Calme, sourced from the "Le Pré Clos" lieu-dit on sandstone-schist soils. The Fire trigram appears on the label, symbolising the fusion of terroir and craftsmanship. Hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts, this 100% Chenin is aged 12 months on fine lees in oak barrels, unfiltered. Awarded one star in the Guide Hachette des Vins 2025.

   Pale yellow with golden hues

   Great woody and vanilla complexity, toasted notes, ripe yellow fruit

   Round and generous, shaped by oak ageing. Ripe apricot notes, long and smooth finish

   3 - 5 years, ready to drink now, will evolve nicely over several years
