The story of Château Princé begins in the 11th century, when the estate was a medieval seigneury linked to the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, laying the foundations of an exceptional historical heritage.
In 1806the vineyard planted its first vines in the Princé terroir, south of Angers, marking the beginning of its winemaking destiny.
The estate took a new turn in 2002 when Régis Vincenot acquired it, revealing the full potential of the terroir. In 2014, Luc joined, initiating the conversion to organic farming, officially certified in 2017, and in 2023, the estate achieved Biodynamic certification.
2022, a modern winery was built, allowing precise and respectful vinification. In 2024, a tasting cellar opened, offering a warm space to share the Château Princé experience, while in 2025, the estate unveiled its new identity and opened guest lodgings, extending this human and winemaking adventure.
Today, Château Princé embodies elegance, tradition, and sustainability, producing authentic wines that reflect the soul of Anjou.
